Devastating Floods in Pakistan Are Putting Older People at Risk
In northern Pakistan, devastating floods have swept through villages and towns, killing over 340 people and leaving more than 160,000 displaced. Entire families have lost their homes, livelihoods, and access to health care.
For older people, the situation is particularly dangerous.
Through our local partner, the Foundation for Aging and Inclusive Development (FAID), HelpAge is providing older Pakistanis with safe spaces in relief camps, mobile health clinics, and essential supplies like hygiene kits, crutches, and clean water containers.
Your gift today will help older people survive this disaster with the support, care, and dignity they need — and ensure they are not forgotten in the world's response to climate change.
